About Us

Nostalgia Plaques are decorative wall-hangings depicting scenes, advertisements and humor of "old-timey days". They are handmade in our Northeast Georgia Workshop. Nostalgia Plaques have been a part of the family for over 44 years when Robin's mother, Phyllis began making them in her garage. She did many craft shows in New York City and Philadelphia dragging her daughter, Robin with her. While Robin thought her crafting days were over after going to college and getting married, I dragged her back into the family business 21 years ago in Virginia Beach, Virginia where we did many indoor and outdoor shows. Nostalgia Plaques made their way to Georgia when Phyllis and family moved to Atlanta in 1988. Robin and I followed shortly after, moving to Georgia in 1991 where we have been making and selling Nostalgia Plaques ever since. We have done many shows throughout the southeast and look forward to many more years of fun and excitement in the Craft business. This business has allowed us to be home while our children were growing up and afforded them the opportunity to spend many weekends in exotic locations. Both of our children have presently 'escaped' to college and have dreams of a life that does not include cutting, grinding, painting, splinters and long weekends at craft shows.
